SPIRIT ADRIFT – New lyric video and new album release date for “Forge Your Future”

Always love finding bands who’s music is more than just benign and simplistic lyrics. SPIRIT ADRIFT definately brings the classic Rock feel of BLACK SABBATH to the mix with their newest release “Forge Your Future” off the three-song EP, of the same name, out August 27th.

Lyrics below video

That path is overgrown
The fog lies thick and low
The other leads to certain death
The light is fading fast
The moon is rising slow
A fate that I cannot accept

I think of every choice that I have ever made
And every road that lead to this
I feel the power in my bloodline fade away
Whispering my final wish

My strength returning now
I’m rising to my feet
A weapon forming in my soul
I am determined that the cycle not repeat
The future under my control

I think of every choice that I will ever make
And every road that might exist
I know the power in my bloodline still remains
Manifesting in the flesh

I saw the future and it set me free
The stars aligned and cleared the way
I forge a path to immortality
Not even fate itself could ever disobey

My will is iron and my vision clear as day
I’ve come to claim what’s rightly mine
At dawn’s arrival, they will know I’m here to stay
My kingdom reaching beyond time

I think of every choice that I will ever make
And every road I know exists
I feel the power in my bloodline taking shape
Manifesting in the flesh

I saw the future and it set me free
The stars aligned and cleared the way
I forge a path to immortality
Not even fate itself could ever disobey

I saw the future and it set me free
The stars aligned and cleared the way
I forge a path to immortality
Not even fate itself could ever disobey
