Hindi Indian Pop singer Smita, sometimes spelled Smitha, released a devotional album, Ishana – Path of the Divine, as an offering to Sadhguru and the Isha Foundation.
Ishana was released during the Mahashivarathri celebration on Feb 20, 2012 where the audience was over fifty thousand.
Proceeds from the sale of the album went to support the Isha Foundation work in the areas of education, environment and rural initiatives.
Smita’s music has been played in many Bollywood movies and has released her self-titled album in three languages simultaneously.
